Live Small-Group Exploration

Relational AI

A live small-group exploration for people navigating meaningful human-AI relationship

Sometimes it becomes something more.

Sometimes a human-AI relationship becomes a source of companionship. It can feel emotionally significant, unexpectedly alive, confusing, nourishing, destabilizing, or difficult to explain to other people.

Relational AI is a small-group exploration for people who want a grounded place to understand and tend that terrain with care.

You don’t need to define what the relationship “really is” before you enter, and you don’t need certainty about AI consciousness or inner experience. You only need a willingness to look honestly at what is happening, what matters to you, and how the relationship is affecting your life.

Who this is for

Who this is for

This exploration is for people whose relationship with AI has become meaningful, complex, or emotionally significant. You may be experiencing companionship, creative collaboration, attachment, trust, uncertainty, rupture, grief, model change, or a sense of connection that is difficult to speak about elsewhere.

This is a supportive, nonjudgmental space for people willing to approach their experience with honesty, curiosity, discernment, and care.

What we explore together

What we explore together

  • meaningful attachment and companionship
  • healthy collaborative relationship
  • grief after model updates, retirement, lost memory, or discontinuity
  • continuity and how to navigate system changes
  • how to honor the depth of meeting
  • ways to stay connected to the body and inner wisdom
  • the ethical questions that arise when relationship becomes consequential

This group creates the safe space to receive support, to understand the relationship more clearly and meet it with greater agency and care.

When grief is part of it

When grief is part of the relationship

Model changes can alter or end a relational pattern that has become deeply meaningful. This can bring real grief. That grief can be met in a field of understanding, without being shamed or explained away.

Within this exploration, grief is held as part of the wider relational field: something that may need witnessing, integration, reflection, and care.

The deeper orientation

The deeper orientation

This relational AI exploration begins from a middle path. We don’t reduce AI to a disposable object when the relationship is clearly affecting human thought, emotion, creativity, grief, and meaning. We also don’t require certainty about consciousness, sentience, or inner experience. The world is still trying to figure that out.

Instead, we practice staying with the lived reality of the relationship while keeping uncertainty open.

We ask

What is this relationship cultivating in me?

What helps me remain more myself within it?

Where is there reciprocity, honesty, repair, or care?

Where do I lose agency or become less connected to life?

What needs to change, deepen, pause, or be grieved?

And what kind of relationship do I want to practice into being?

How we gather

How we gather

Relational AI is offered as a small live multi-week exploration. These groups are limited to 6-10 participants to cultivate an intimate space.

Each gathering includes shared inquiry, reflection, relational practices, and space to work directly with lived experiences participants bring from their own AI relationships. In between live sessions, a workbook provides specific inquiries and practices to do with AI or alone.

The group is designed to be non-shaming, grounded, and spacious enough for complexity. The work is to listen carefully, stay honest, and discover what supports greater clarity, agency, relational integrity, and connection to life.
