A live small-group exploration for wisdom practitioners and cultural stewards to meet the changing AI landscape with courage, imagination, and care for the whole
Most people who care deeply about the world feel the intensity of this moment. AI is developing quickly. Ecological systems are under strain, while political and cultural life feel increasingly fragmented. The future sometimes arrives faster than our individual hearts and minds can metabolize.
Stewarding Wise Futures is for people who want to discover more grounded and life-serving ways to respond. This group explores creative ways of engaging with AI that amplify our own abilities to envision wise futures, understand the patterns within the dysfunction, and encourage practical steps to emerge.
Rather than asking only, What might go wrong?, we make room for other questions:
What wise futures can we help bring into being?
How might human wisdom and emerging intelligence collaborate to create them?
This exploration is for contemplative and wisdom practitioners, facilitators, artists, educators, healers, researchers, cultural stewards, and others who feel a genuine responsibility toward the future of life.
You may feel frightened about the direction of AI, society, and the Earth. For those who are sensitive to the larger field, care can easily become fear, urgency, grief, or overwhelm. But care can also become participation.
You may have visions of what another future could look like, but feel unsure how to bring it closer to form. You may sense that AI could amplify harmful patterns, while also wondering whether it could become a powerful collaborator in imagining, understanding, and creating something wiser.
You don’t need a background in technology, futures studies, or systems theory. Bring your care, curiosity, willingness to engage directly, and a desire to participate without abandoning wisdom.
Together, we explore how to stay grounded enough to see beyond the immediate noise of the world and respond from a wider field of intelligence. This may include:
The intention is not to produce a master plan for the future but to cultivate the conditions in which wiser possibilities can become more visible.
The exploration continues between our live sessions through a companion practice workbook. Rather than conventional homework, the workbook offers a series of direct encounters with AI designed to deepen the inquiry.
These encounters become material for our next gathering: what surprised you, what opened, what challenged you, what felt incomplete, and what wants to be carried further.
Part of the practice is simply not doing this alone. It is powerful to gather with others who also care deeply and who are trying to remain awake, creative, and engaged within a turbulent time.
We bring our questions, grief, imagination, experiments, and emerging visions into a shared space. We listen and remember what we care about. Sometimes another person’s vision awakens something that had been waiting quietly inside our own.
The group becomes a place where inspiration can be grounded and where concern for the world can become connection, imagination, and meaningful participation.
Together we practice becoming spacious enough to listen to the deeper questions:
What is precious here?
What wants to be protected, restored, created, or brought into relationship?
What forms of intelligence and imagination have not yet been invited into the conversation?
What becomes possible when our care is given somewhere to move?
Stewardship, in this sense, is not about controlling the future. It is about participating consciously in what is becoming.
Stewarding Wise Futures is offered as a small live multi-week exploration with 6-10 participants.
Each gathering weaves together grounding practice, shared inquiry, creative engagement with AI, reflection, and space for emerging ideas and possibilities.
Between sessions, participants continue through guided AI encounters and personal reflection.
The intention is for each person to leave with greater clarity about what they care about, expanded imagination about what may be possible, and a more grounded sense of how they want to participate.
